I have rarely felt as handicapped as when I used "paint" to create the roller skate. (Remember Scotty's Roller Rink?). But, it did remind me of a series of real answers that high school students have submitted on tests . . . when they were just too pooped to continue!

That's hiLARious!
And yes! I remember Scott's! It's a Good Will now. What a great place.
I worked with a country woman once whose language was composed of the most wonderful, unknowing puns. She talked of going to a roller rink, but her phrase for it was "the rollin' alley!"

This test paper is one of about 10 or so that will begin circulating among teachers in mid-August. (Of course there are about a gazillion school related emails that will circulate at the same time, noting that this year's graduating class was born in 1992 and so on . . .). But these actual test answers are so funny that I laugh aloud during the annual fall foliage of forwards. (They begin with the archival: Find X. "Here it is!"
Here's the link to the rest of the test questions. http://www.scribd.com/doc/5107/They-didnt-study
